Certified Hair Extension Specialist
Sew-In
As the name suggestions, Sew-in extensions are sewn into your hair to install them. With a sew-in, your natural hair is tucked away, so it requires very little upkeep. Sew In hair extensions are fairly permanent and would last you anywhere between 4-6 weeks.
Tape-In
Tape-in extensions are one to one and a half inches of sections of hair that are pre-taped with medical-grade glue to your hair. The extensions have to be professionally installed by a licensed cosmetologist. This kind of hair extension is going to last you around 1-2 months, with maintenance appointments for upkeep every six weeks. The method uses adhesive weft tape that doesn't' require any heat, but also lets your natural hair continue to grow quite easily.
Clip-In
Clip-in extensions are wefts of hair attached to small one-inch combs that can be clipped into your natural hair in sections. The wefts vary in width so they're easy to place and blend all along your head
Micro-Ring
Micro rings are small metal rings that hair extensions are threaded through, along with some of your own hair. Once they have been positioned correctly the micro rings are clamped into place, securing the hair extensions to your hair.
Micro-Bead
Micro bead extensions are made from Remy hair, which is 100 percent human hair. They attach to the head thanks to very small and discreet beads. The hair is clamped into place, lying flat to the head and adding volume and length. There are no damaging tools involved, and the application does not take that long.
Micro-Link
Microlinks are an extension method where the hair is attached with silicone microbeads or microtubes. Unlike wigs, which are placed over braided hair, or sew-ins, which require all or most of the hair to be braided tightly to the scalp, microlinks allow for all of your hair to be exposed.
